This is a request for records under the Missouri Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, Revised Statutes of Missouri.

I would like to request that you make available to me the following records: Greene County’s Sunshine Law Policy, the Greene County Commission’s Sunshine Law Policy, and Greene County Planning and Zoning’s Sunshine Law Policy (all of which should cover the procedure and cost for releasing documents under a Sunshine request as well as the name of the county's Custodian of Records). If all of these institutions’ policies fall under one umbrella, please send me that Sunshine Law Policy.

I request that the records responsive to my request be copied and sent to me at the following address: P.O. Box 2418, Springfield, MO 65801. However, if the policy can be sent electronically (as a Word, Excel, or Publisher document or a .pdf) that would be preferred. Just return an electronic file to me via e-mail at this address: editor@cfpmidweek.com

I would like to request that all fees for locating and copying the records be waived.

The information I obtain through this request will be used for an informational story in the Community Free Press. I am also collecting these policies from other public bodies in Greene and Christian County in order to compile a database of Sunshine policies that can be accessed and viewed by members of the public for the purpose of comparison, and to also help public bodies that do not have a policy be able to write one, as prescribed by state law.

Please let me know in advance of any search or copying fees if the apply and how/when those need to be paid.
